
The nominees for the prestigious HJ’s 2010 British Hairdresser of the Year Award have been announced.
The nominees for HJ’s 26th British Hairdressing Awards, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional are:
- Andrew Barton
- Errol Douglas
- Mark Hayes
- Tim Hartley
- Akin Konizi
- Angelo Seminara
- Phil Smith
- Gary Hooker and Michael Young
These eight world-renowned hairdressers have been short listed after receiving the most nominations from a specially selected group of industry experts, beauty journalists and international trade press.
All these nominees will now prepare their exclusive portfolio, which will be judged with the regional and specialist category finalists in October. The winner will be announced at a fantastic star studded awards ceremony and dinner at the Grosvenor House Hotel, A JW Marriot Hotel, Park Lane, London on Monday 22nd November 2010.

The nominees for 2010 British Hairdresser of the Year Award includes British Hairdresser of the Year 2008 and 2009 Akin Konizi as well as the 2006 and 2007 winners Andrew Barton and Angelo Seminara. A new addition to this year’s list is Tim Hartley.
