Salon International has now closed its doors for 2010, after an incredible three days of education, inspiration and the best of British Hairdressing.
Tens of thousands of hairdressers from the four corners of the globe attended the world’s most inspirational hairdressing exhibition at EXCEL, London during October 16-18, 2010. Salon International was the perfect platform for all those who were looking for inspiration, motivation, education or the latest product launches.
Salon International 2010 had over 220 exhibitors as the exhibition showcased the best of British hairdressing, product innovation and manufacturing. Many of the UK’s greatest hairdressers appeared, including HJ’s current British Hairdresser of the Year, Akin Konizi, Patrick Cameron, Adam Reed, Simon Shaw, Ken Picton, Andrew Barton and more.
Moroccanoil, Balmain, Hair Tools, Sexy Hair, Corioliss, cupid&grace professional, Easydry, Philip Martin, Diva Professional Stylers, Flip-In Hair, Amargan Hair Therapy, Pro Care, Herstylers and Paul Mitchell were all showcasing their latest product innovations.
Various companies were on hand to show salons how to develop their beauty business and introduce new services. This was interesting for salons that provide both hairdressing and beauty services.
We see lots of salons adopting technology these days. Salon International 2010 had computer software companies Salon Genius, Shortcuts, Millennium, Salon Tech and Salon Biz Central showing salons how they can utilise software to ensure their business is more efficient.
HJ’s British Hairdressing Awards Gallery, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional, was bigger and better than ever with a fabulous stand-alone gallery which showcased four images from each of the nine regional and six specialist categories along with all eight images from each of the British Hairdresser of the Year nominees.
Salon International 2010 had something for everyone as it provided increased facilities, more live stages than ever, the latest in product innovations and the opportunity to purchase everything from a hair pin to a salon refit.
It’s hard to believe Salon International is over for another year! It will be returning to ExCeL London on the 15th, 16th and 17th October 2011 for three days of inspirational live shows, seminars and demonstrations!
