The Professional Beauty Association has announced the finalists for the 2010 North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) for Make-up Artist of the Year and the Salon MBA. The finalists for these two categories were not announced when the initial list of NAHA 2010 finalists was declared.

The NAHA 2010 finalists for Make-up Artist of the Year and Salon MBA categories are:

Sevan Tatoulian

Karie and Aaron Bennett from Atelier Aveda Lifestyle SalonSpa

Tina Morschhauser and Gretchen Brown from Rejuvenation Spa

Shawn Trujillo and Angie Katsanevas from Lunatic Fringe

Charles Penzone from The Charles Penzone Salons’

Kendall Ong and Beate Assmuth-Ong from Mane Attraction Salon

While announcing NAHA 2010 finalists for these two categories, Bonnie Bonadeo, PBA’s Director of Program Development and Education, said: “The NAHA for Make-up Artist of the Year has grown significantly more prestigious in the past few years and I feel the Salon MBA NAHA will become just as prominent in recognizing those very astute and successful salon and spa owners who have cultivated a cutting-edge and a highly profitable business.”

One of the finalists for the Make-up Artist of the Year category is “Sevan Tatoulian” who was featured in one of the episodes of The Cutting Edge Hair Show. That episode also featured Anna Pacitto from Pure Salon who showed teamwork in action and you can check out that episode here.

The PBA Awards Ceremony will be held on July 18, 2010 at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Las Vegas.
