Are you a student stylist with skills? Think you have what it takes to make it to the next level? P&G Salon Professional Canada is building the next generation of stylists with their first annual Student Stylist Competition to be held at Allied Beauty Association, Toronto, Ontario on April 2, 2012.
The competition is open to all apprentices and non-licensed students enrolled in a certified cosmetology school. Winners will receive cash and education prizes.
In order to compete in PGSP Student Stylist Competition, you must take a “before” picture of your model and then interpret one of the looks within your chosen category from Wella Professionals, Clairol Professional and Sebastian Professional, using the Inspiration Guide for your category.
Finalists in the Wella Professionals and Sebastian Professional categories will have the opportunity to show their models onstage at Allied Beauty Association Show before a prestigious panel of educators and judges.
First place winners will be given a cash prize of $1000 plus education voucher, while second and third place winners will receive a cash prize of $500 and $250 respectively.
The last date for submitting your entries is February 29, 2012. Finals take place on April 2, 2012 at Allied Beauty Association, Toronto, Ontario.
